Dr. Lowry attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in anesthesiology at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple, where he distinguished himself as chief resident and was honored as the institution’s Most Outstanding Hospital Resident.
Pursuing further specialization, Dr. Lowry completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He later achieved double board certification in anesthesiology and interventional pain management.
From 2011 to 2015, Dr. Lowry served as a core clinical and teaching faculty member for the interventional pain fellowship program at Baylor Scott & White. Following this tenure in academic medicine, he transitioned into private practice, where he built a highly regarded pain management clinic recognized nationally as a “Neuromodulation Center of Excellence.”
Dr. Lowry has contributed to the advancement of pain medicine through numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and as a co-author of an interventional pain management textbook. He has also delivered expert lectures at various medical conferences across Texas and neighboring states, addressing contemporary topics in pain management, advanced interventional techniques, and minimally invasive procedures.
In 2023, Dr. Lowry stepped away from clinical practice due to health-related concerns. Since then, he has channeled his expertise into innovation, founding Iaomai Instruments LLC to develop and refine medical technologies and products. Additionally, he established Iaomai Physician Solutions LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to enhancing clinical efficiency and equipping physicians with cutting-edge pain management strategies and techniques.
